Skoda Fabia Vrs 2004

Standard spec plus cruise control, extra rear head rest, under seat passenger side cubby, Alpine head unit with iPod / iPhone connection. Genuine Vrs mats in good condition, seats are the cleanest I have seen and have been scotch guarded. Extras included genuine Skoda rubber boot liner and rear sunshades.

I have owned the car from August 2014 and put 25’000 miles on it. It was bought from another Briskoda member that lavished just as much love on it as me.

145,000 miles (in daily use so will rise). Full service history up to 94,499 miles and then receipts to back up all the work done. The car has had an oil change every 10000 miles using VAG Quantum long life oil. The mileage is mainly commuting certainly mine and the previous owners. The cambelt and water pump was changed at 98’000 miles 28/09/2012. The clutch and DMF was replaced at 120,000 miles by the previous owner who is a motor engineer. At the same time as the cambelt change the front suspension was overhauled with genuine shocks and top mounts and arb bushes.

Within my owner ship it’s had the sump pan replaced by Darkside developments as the alloy one started to leak from the sump plug. I had the low steel pan fitted as the area around the sump plug is more hard wearing. I have fitted Eibach pro springs, Ibiza cupra bump stops, new front drop links and new genuine rear shocks. In March 2015 I took it to Darkside for a general inspection and it was given full marks apart from a missing calliper spring (now replaced).

Mot was last carried out 10/04/2015. The car passed first time.

The front discs and pads were replaced when I purchased the car. I have replaced both rear callipers in December 2015 with genuine Lucas TRW ones. They have been painted in the correct green with brand new discs and pads. At the same time the car was serviced on 06/08/2015 at 135,000 miles. Including the Oil, Fuel and Air filter. On 25/08/2015 all the tyres were replaced with Uniroyal Rainsport 3 and a full hunter alignment was carried out at Bram Racing, Wakefield.

The wheels were refurbished about 18 months ago and are unmarked. Some other cosmetic have been replaced due there age were both head lights, rear lights replaced for the later versions. Front grill and Skoda badges. It also has both the ash tray or cup holder.

The bad bits. The aircon has stopped working. The metal plate on the compressor pulley came loose and fell off. The button still illuminates but does not engage. I have read that it can be refitted and should start working again. Being an 11 year old car there are some marks around the bodywork. There is some lacquer peel on the front bumper and some signs of corrosion on the rear arch lip. I have applied Dinotrol to the sills and rear wheel well as these areas are most exposed to road grit and weathering.

In summary this is a very nice clean example of a vRS and is on the standard map. It has never missed a beat for me and still feels tight and solid with hardly any cabin noise. I intended to keep the car but I need something bigger, but needless to stay I will be staying VAG. I am sure I have missed things but I have both keys, a file full of paper work and the car is HPI clear. Test drives will only be permitted with proof of insurance.

£1950.00. I am based in Barnsley near Junction 38 of the M1.

Thanks, just lots of time wasters so far, I'm sure when someone comes to look at it they will have it. Really is a bargain if you ask me!

Also forgot to mention it's had the coolant bottle replaced due to the sensor failing and sits at the correct 90 degrees.

Just sorted through the paperwork and the car comes with the original bill of sale. It also has nearly half a tank of diesel in it.
