VCDS-Lite Logs

Featured Replies

Hi, I have just purchased VCDS-Lite and after seeing the graphs of fuel logs in the GTB thread I thought I would have a go at doing some logs on my VRS.

It just has a remap (from a reputable supplier) but has always smoked really badly over 4k rpm, comparing the graphs to the 'Typical PD130 Remap' graph posted by faboka vrs mine appears to go a bit mad on the fuel over 4k rpm.

Would appreciate it if someone knowledgeable could take a look at the graphs below and let me know what they think, is it the start/end of the fuel injection that would be the reason for the really bad smoke over 4k rpm ??

Thanks

p.s. think I may have got the plus and minus the wrong way around for the SOI/EOI but I'm sure you will understand it, I just did the SOI - Duration = EOI

That's a lot of fuel past 4K. Way too much for a normal remap.

EOI is ridiculous past 4k, it's just pushing unburnt fuel straight out of the exhaust.

Take it back and show the 'reputable remapper' your graph and tell them you want it sorted FOC.

Thanks for the replies and thanks for confirming the excessive fuel.

The map has been on for 6 years and not been much of a problem as I seldom rev it over 4k (as don't need to rev it that high), it performs great under 4k.

The map was supplied by one of the Briskoda sponsors, although its been years since I purchased the map I think I will point them to this thread and see what they say about it.

That eoi wow

not seen one with an eoi that far past TDC, I thought I was pushing my pd100 at 10 degrees eoi, from the graph yours looks to be around 18 degrees

Yes it does seem a bit excessive to say the least, I have sent a message to the place I got the map from and also the original map and email from when I purchased it, it will be interesting to see what they say about it!
