How much for a new Vrs

Featured Replies

I know its being asked nearly every week but starting to get things sorted from when the car got wrote off they paid out on friday (just for those who were woundering or questioning at the time on the thread it was the other persons fault:thumbup: ) and now getting the itch:cool: for another Vrs after driving a megane i bout to run about in till it was sorted. Not totally sure if i can with uni and that bu twas just woundering how much would you be looking to pay for a new one (possibly red) with zeons.

Haven't had a chance to get near a dealer and thought anyone who has been looking or bought one might be able to shed some light on it.

Sorry bout it being long winded

Thanks for any help in advance:thumbup:

We got £600 off a standard one with metallic, with a trade in.

You should be able to get at least that if you don't have a trade in, so with standard paint and xenons, you're looking at about £12300 from a dealer without too much hassle.

Drive the deal are quoting £11668 for that spec at the moment. Print off aquote and take it to a dealer and see what he says.

Good to hear you got your payout, are you happy with the settlement figure?

I think you should stick with the black... but then again, if I was to buy another one, it would most likely be silver :rubchin:

Something else to bear in mind is the changes for the 06 Fabia. They will be Euro IV compliant - and that may not be a good thing if you have tuning in mind ;)

There is one on autotrader at the moment, standard spec. 14k miles, 2004 for £7695 ono.

The best price anywhere I have seen for a 2nd hand one and i'd snap it up if I were in the market for a vRS.

Right, i went into the dealership a while back and they quoted me £12600 for a new vrs with black magic.

The dealer phoned me back just after i brought one from else where, asked me what deal i got, i told him £11,400, he rang me back and said he can do a brand new, in black, for £11,200. so add £500 for xeons and remove £200 for black magic, your talking £11,500..

Work the bargin, they CAN drop alot lower than they start with.

By the way, my dealer is Capitol Skoda, Newport, South Wales - Eventhough I brought the car else where, they are still phoning up as soon as i get the car to see if everything is ok and said i can bring it in anytime i want if i have any questions or niggles. I actually feel bad i didn't buy it from the stealer as they have been very helpful.

If they go the extra mile then perhaps they deserve to get the dosh from the servicing, I went for a dealer purchase in the end due to the very small price difference we ended up with after a bit of negotiating.

Jimbo my local is Newport as well and they keep phoning me back when I'm in meetings. :D From what you have said I will end up buying from them. Only thing is I have to wait until March, my money is tied up in savings accounts.

Did you part exchange a car?

This car depreciates 3.5k in it's 1st year, I have been told that vRS's keep their value aswell, why dont you save 3 1/2k and get a 1 year old one with 14k miles on the clock, it's not even run in and with VW reliability nothing will go wrong (still have 2 years manufacturers warranty) and someone else will be taking the hit not you.

Autofinders are doing them pre-reg (mine was) for
