Fabia

Featured Replies

Been looking at this vRS for daughter, and not convinced

she is now looking round for a Fabia Estate Elegance, does anyone know of any for sale anywhere ??

I know of one but it is in Cornwall.

Good luck, especially if she's after the PD100 engined TDI ... rare than hen's teeth! Have you had a look on Autotrader and on Skoda's approved Used cars? I'm assuming you're looking at buying 2nd hand?

no not looked on skodas approved (URL ?)

shes looking for second hand

Look at Combi with Ambiente trim too. It replaced Comfort and has some decent kit including aircon. She can always upgrade the alloys etc. Later on.

I love my Combi TDI by the way. It's a good car and suprisingly quick.

Still look for comfort also.... comfort goes upto '54 where it became ambiente.

There is a massive jump from classic to comfort spec wise... but only a very small jump from comfort to elegance. Difference between comfort and elegance is only.. flippy key, heated seats, leather/chrome pack and alarm think thats about it.

and it beeps when anything is low! lol map reading lights in the rear erm rear cup holders .....err alloys :)

Sorry, forgot to say mine's a Comfort. The only thing I could do with is aircon but the car was a snap-up from a local dealer so I couldn't be too choosy!

Fabia 12v, your mods look v. good by the way- nice, subtle and in keeping with the car- the way it should be- . Kind of hoping to make mine a bit of a 'sleeper'. I have some fairly subtle 15" factory alloys to go on and then I'll think about Eibachs and trim. A remap would finish the deal. Whats next for you?

Cheers

thanks... i was lucky mine had airt con spec.

Next for me is to fit W8 light when it arrives... but will actually be looking for a vRS next year.... so most mods been transferred across to that, except those already on it!!

I like to mod so the car looks OEM sort of either put on higher model specs or add items the designers forgot!

one thing to watch out for is that the first elegances only have Beige seats like mine. and they show dirt up very quickly/

plus side is that they have electric rear windows which the newer ones dont.

seta covers are cheaper than electric window kit lol
