After quite a bit of research,I worked out which front pads I needed (for our '52 Elegance 1.8t), with the wear sensor wire/adapter.

 

So I set about choosing which brand, & where to buy from at the best price, & found these ATE pads at a fantastic price,they seem to be at least £40 elsewhere, & ATE have a very good reputation, I think they may even be original fit on the Octavia.

They have just arrived & are as per the ebay ad, £18.07 delivered.

So I thought I would share.

Not sure if they are good for the Vrs or not, perhaps someone can confirm (or not).

Part number is 13.0460-7122.2, Skoda cross reference numbers are;
