VRS Estate rear seat squab removal

Featured Replies

A friend has just purchased a 1 year old VRS Estate as I've been harping on so much about how great my '12 plate VRS hatch is. However, on my car it is a piece of cake to remove the rear seat squabs to create a flat loading area for windsurfing kit. Not so on his estate - we cannot work out if it is even possible to remove the squabs on his car. He's faced with the ridiculous prospect of having to buy roof rack bars to carry his windsurfing gear! Could anyone help out with this conundrum? Is it possible to remove the rear squabs?

Never tried removing the bench on mine, but from the links guessing you need to remove the 4 ISOfix covers and their surrounds (i have this done as isofix car seats don't sit properly without removing all the plastic) - the cover should pop off and the surround should just unclip but you have to tilt the rear seats back and forward whilst 'wiggling' them out if i recall correctly.
