For anyone who may be interested in current build times.

 

Ordered my Fabia S on 1^st August, I have been given a tentative build date of week 36 (late September) and an estimated delivery of Early November.

as mentioned in earlier pages, we ordered on june 11th, build week ended up being 31/32 (start of August) and my wife should be collecting some time around the beginning of September. I asked for it to wait to be a 66, she's not so bothered

 

She missed a call from the garage which I'm assuming was to confirm build/shipping, finalise the reg number (this dealer has always given us a pick out of their next allocation each time) and arrange the actual collection

 

It better not have been to tell us that there's a delay or an issue.

So you can tell how "keen" my wife is to get her hands on her new car

 

the dealer was indeed calling to arrange the registration number "but i can't remember which one I picked" and the collection "he offered me Sept 1st but that's a busy day for me, so I told him to wait until the 7th as I've got that afternoon off"

 

Incidentally - not that I'm expecting any issues, or for the dealer to pull a fast one / coverup on us, but is there a visible clue to confirm we got a 110, and not the 90?

Having 6 gears for the 110 is easiest check

Ordered my Monte Carlo in laser white on 10/08. Not heard anything from the dealer about build dates yet. Getting impatient already lol

Ordered mine about 20/06, it was built week commencing 09/08, it's somewhere on its way to the UK now, so I should be picking it up in around 2 weeks apparently...

Hi all, new to the forum and this is my first post :p

 

Ordered a Racing Blue Colour Edition on the 10th Aug, have an est Delivery Date of 30th October on my order form, hope it comes sooner! I never realised new cars can take so long to get built etc. In 14 years of motoring this is my first 'new' car, was pretty excited back when I ordered but now it feels like an age away

 

I also have full VCDS, based in the Rhondda Valleys (sadly) but am reguarly in Cardiff\Caerphilly\Bridgend\Maesteg if anyone wants to plug it in and have a play :p

Just got some good news, car should be delivered end of September now, which is a hell of a lot earlier than the early November estimate.

Fingers crossed for no delays.

Yep, 5. When I test drove it, I didn't feel like it needed the 6th gear (my current car has 6)... it's just been tuned to suit the 5.

I'm picking my Monte up next Friday 9th. Ordered middle of June.

UPDATE: Spoke to my dealer today and my car is being built in week 38 (3rd week of September) looks like I'll be getting the car earlier than expected! 

Went in to look at a Momte Carlo today ended up deciding to go through with the order,

Only to be advised there was a Monte Carlo with the 17in Rims and full size spare just come of the line and I could have it in 3 weeks so took it

So here is my timeline!

Ordered: 10/08/16

Built: 19/09-21/09

Left Dock of exit (Emden): 22/09/16

Estimated delivery: 10/10/16

Mine was a stock build that was avalible as of 10/09 so assuming that was still @ the factory at that point.

My dealer has just told me its still

In Endem... so hopefully get some more news Monday as the dealer in contacting Skoda to see what the delay.

There been quite a few ships between Endem and Sheerness in that time...

Yeah I noticed that, your post prompted me to contact the dealer (White Dove Cardiff)

They did say at the time it could be sooner if an order gets cancelled and the shell is already on it's way down the line and they can put the options on etc, maybe that's how you got it earlier?
