Featured Replies

Hi, changed battery and radio code has gone and got no code in my bookwork, is there anyway to get the code?

It is stored in the instrument cluster. Leave it on for a while and it should come back on :)

Okay mate thanks, ill give it a try

Cant see the above working im afraid, it usually happens pretty instantly.

if you've got it plugged in and the engine is on and running and it hasnt unlocked itself, you need the code.

I'd also assume it isn't a factory fitted satnav unless you have the maxi-dot dash (displays radio and guidance between the clocks) so has been fitted aftermarket so the code wont be stored in the clocks.

Try removing it and hopfully its been writen on the top of the radio somewhere.

He has Tim Fok's old car so is factory fitted with maxidot :)

As softscoop said its Tim Foks old car...

Ah fantastic, one of the lucky ones! :)

Try whats been suggested then, when i've refitted the standard radios and first switched them on, within about 10 seconds they have always synced up.

Do you not have the booklet for the radio, its normally listed on a small shiny lable near the front few pages or the back few pages (my satnav one is almost on the last page)
