DAB logos will not work

Featured Replies

I have a Columbus with the latest firmware and everything is working splendidly except I cannot get the preset logos to attach. When I first got the car I put the logos on DAB and FM and all was fine. Since then, and because I have reset the radio in the meantime for various reasons, I cannot get the DAB logos to work. The FM logos work perfectly but when I go into the DAB setup, manage logos, press the preset and select the logo, it just returns with a blank and no matter what I do the logo will not attach. I have hard-booted the system, reset the radio to factory but still nothing. The only logo that works is BBC World Service, but that is OTA. The logos are the standard .PNG one from the official logo website, are the correct size. I have tried .JPG but that makes no difference. This is not a show stopper but is mildly annoying. If anyone has a clue I would be very grateful. Thanks.

Latest firmware being 0390?

Works fine on mine, but I don't bother as they look rather silly on the Slideshow views etc as they don't resize.

Have you got the tick box selected for auto saving DAB logos?

Only other thing I can think of is deleting all logos first?

Hi Andy,

yes I have the latest firmware, with your help (!) and the box is ticked for autosave. I have tried deleting all logos and I have even deleted everything from the jukebox in case it was a space issue. What I do not understand is (1): it used to work and  (2): it works with the FM presets. What really annoys me is that the broadcasters don't just send the logos OTA like the BBC World Service does, as then the logos would load dynamically. Never mind, at least my DAB works now, without the problems that you seem to be having!
