Only I wish to change the internals of my damaged electric wing mirror, with a good condition manual.

Is this possible?

 

I'm assuming I can just raid the old wing mirror of it's motor and connections and pop them into the new one!

It's a lot of hassle, surely it's quicker, cheaper and easier to just buy a secondhand electric mirror since manual mirrors are rare to nonexistent.
