Could someoe help me please ive brought some coil overs for my fabia do i need to compress the old springs to change the whole suspention or can i remove the old suspension without needing to compress them

Could someoe help me please ive brought some coil overs for my fabia do i need to compress the old springs to change the whole suspention or can i remove the old suspension without needing to compress them

 

You can remove the complete struts without compressing the springs, however if you want to reuse the top mounts, bearings and gaiters you'll need to compress the spring to get it all off.
