I've ordered a vRS (estate) and am now wondering if it comes with a retractable parcel shelf as standard like the one in my current Passat which is pictured?

I've gone for the electric boot, not sure if it is part of that package or would have been another option. Hoping there is some form of cover as need it for security with work [emoji848]

Yes, I picked up my vRS estate a month ago, and it has a cover similar to yours. I have the electric boot too - no idea if it's part of that, but I would guess it's a standard item?

I just wish the cover was electric too, I miss that from my previous car.

Thanks, pleased to hear that. Only have the manual one (which is pretty good/easy to use) on the Passat (inherited company car) - didn't realise there was an electric one!

Don't know if there's an electric one for Skoda / VW. I came from a BMW 5-series, where the cover is opened and closed along with the boot door. Very handy.

But the Skoda one is certainly good enough.

Haha, I had an A4 S Line avant previously and that didn't even come with an electric cover!

Really looking forward to it, the real draw to the vRs for me was the engine and performance against other options - space was a bonus [emoji1]
