Kessy keyless locking
Not sure about the UK or elsewhere, but here (Sweden), it’s standard on all Enyaqs. We only get the 80 here now, so it might be different for the 60 too.

No Software Update
Mine is now booked for September 16. I was at the service center for another issue, and asked about the update. Apparently my notice was sent out today, so they booked me in on the first available slot. Here in Sweden the notices are sent out in age order (oldest cars first), don’t know if it’s the same in the UK.

OTA Updates
I don’t think it’s out yet? From what I’ve read, VW ID. cars will need a new 12-volt battery and a workshop flash to ID. software 2.4 before 3.0 can be installed via OTA. According to VW Sweden the rollout of 2.4 and the new battery will be announced in late June, so I guess it will be possible to get it after the summer (since Sweden pretty much closes down during July / early August). My guess is that Skoda won’t be (allowed) to start updating until the VW cars have had a chance to be first. Do we know if the 12V battery is part of the Skoda update as well?

About to order Enyaq - what packages to skip?
Hej! 😁 When I ordered, the only addition in Convenience Plus over Basic was the electric tailgate. So I skipped that - the electric ones are slow and annoying anyway (at least that’s what I tell myself…) 😉
-
ACC and Crystal face problem
True - my previous Superb was also the same. I think the notifications were less annoying though, so I didn’t mind them as much. The binging and bonging every other minute from the parking sensors in the Enyaq drive me nuts when driving in snow. 🤣
-
ACC and Crystal face problem
Yes, it’s the same on my non-crystal face Enyaq. Any amount of snow causes the sensor in the grill to be blinded, and the forward park assist sensors to keep popping up warnings about them being covered.

What are these symbols?
It tells you to take your foot off the accelerator to coast / regen into the roundabout. I’m not sure what it’s called on Skodas, but VW calls it Eco Assistant and it’s standard on all ID cars. So presumably it’s also available on all Enyaqs (I have ACC, so I don’t know how it works on non ACC cars). “How do the efficiency systems contribute to saving energy? All ID. models have an intelligent system on board as standard – the Eco Assistant, which evaluates navigation data and road signs. When the car is approaching a zone requiring a lower speed – such as a village, roundabout, or a corner – the system shows the driver that they need to take their foot off the accelerator. And, where possible, the Eco Assistant also increases the recuperation automatically. The aim is to increase energy efficiency through thinking ahead while driving.” VW interview

Apple Carplay playing Music from Apple
Apple Music over wireless CarPlay is working fine for me. Do you use the in car Wi-Fi or your phones internet connection?

My Skoda stopped working
If you log in to the Skoda Connect portal (https://www.skoda-connect.com/), your car will show up there. At least mine does. Unfortunately you can’t do anything with the car from there, other than seeing your subscription status. I assume API’s used by the app will be back online eventually.

Scheduled charging not working
I would be interested in hearing if you get the Enyaq scheduled charging to work. I never got it to charge correctly and resorted to using the scheduling on my wall box, as described in this thread Can’t get along with smart charging . Thanks!

OTA Updates
Yeah, the VW group cars are becoming a bit like Android phones. Each brand takes months and months to adapt their skin and unique features to the same base software. I guess we’ll see, the current version is working pretty well for me (apart from the broken scheduled charging) so I guess there’s no hurry.

OTA Updates
Interesting! Mine is on 0795 and I was hoping to get the 09XX update sooner rather than later. I guess we’ll see what happens in 2022. 😆

OTA Updates
I thought the Enyaqs were already OTA enabled, and that only early ID cars needed a dealer “intervention” to get updated to have OTA enabled. Do you have a link to where this is confirmed?

Which interior?
Agreed - it looks much darker in the pictures. I was actually pleasantly surprised that it’s a lighter grey fabric (but I can see why some might not be), as I’m really tired of all black / dark interiors. I ordered it unseen, as all dealer cars I’ve seen has had the EcoSuite interior.

Which interior?
I snapped a few quick (and pretty crappy) photos when I got home this afternoon, while it was still reasonably bright outside. The days are short here now so there’s not much time for photography. Front seats Rears, with folding tables and retractable head rests (part of the Family Pack) Dash fabric covering and brushed aluminum inlays I think Loft is fine - but if my wife hadn’t vetoed the EcoSuite brown leather interior I would have gone for that.
