Just bought a 2003 Octavia Elegance 1.9 tdi (a bit of a dog) for £300 as a project.

 

Car is now running and I am now in the process of tidying it up.

 

I bought the Skoda as a runaround as I have traded my B6 Passat for a VW Eos and don't want to run the mileage up, also the Eos only does about 30mpg as its the 2.0L FSI sport.

 

I have a couple of questions but I will post them in the appropriate area (Octavia MK1)

Welcome and you've certainly come to the right place! You can't go too far wrong for £300 if. you can get all the basics okay.
