airbag light on F/L VRS

Featured Replies

HI All

Just upgraded to a Seat Leon MFSW & Air bag from a standard VRS wheel. Its had a steering wheel, airbag,MFSW airbag loom, Hi- line steering wheel  controller all code & working except for when you press the horn the airbag light comes on !! I'm thinking it may need a clock spring

Any help or pointers would greatly appreciated

what fault is shown with vcds?

0588 - Airbag Igniter; Driver Side (N95): Upper Limit Exceeded

airbag wiring and mf wiring are not on the same circuit

open the yellow plug that fits onto the slip ring and take a picture of the pins that go into that plug

Hi Ed

Have some images, when I took the airbag off yesterday I noticed that the double brown wire could possibly be hitting the base of the steering wheel when the horn was depressed so i swapped the blue & brown over ( they are on the same terminal. I also added some insulation on to the spade connections, just in case. So far its been no trouble just getting some strange look driving around hitting the horn !!! :D
