So, trying to decide what to do next to the VRS. Need some inspiration!

At the moment we have;

-H&R springs

-H&R rarb

-Bluespark box

-Centre silencer delete

To me, there are two areas that need improving. The first is a little more torque, my car produced 207hp and 208lbft on the dyno run. While decent figures, I have seen other cars with torque closer 230-250lb ft on the forum with a few other mods.

Secondly is the front end. While there handling is much better with the springs and rarb the front end still feels a little numb and floaty.

I'm not going to do everything in one hit, so if it was your money would you;

-farb + polybush everything front and rear

-Intercooler

-Induction

-ditch the bluespark for stage 1 (not sure this would actually add anything though)

I'm leaning towards the induction as its a pretty painless job to do. The itg maxogen I think, would love the vwr version but I haven't seen any evidence showing gains over the itg other than looks (which is subjective). And for the hassle and cost of the battery issue I don't see it's worth it for me.

Any input/ ideas would be welcomed.

Out of your four choices, I would choose intercooler. But then, I live in a hot climate, and I think it would make the biggest difference for me.  :sun:

Ok firstly I agree with intercooler and vwr bits but stage 1 remap might leave you looking at brakes then, alas a never ending story of mods. My fabia started life as a 75bhp 1.6tdi I did k&n filter, vrs trumpet and pipe to filter housing, remap to 130bhp jom blueline coilovers and mk1 octavia vrs brakes front and rear plus 17" octavia spyders

Haha it is a never ending list! Although brakes would be pretty far down. The standard set up is more than enough for road use.

I would say the intercooler to get the temps down. I've done the vwr kit and battery spin. the car is a lot different now from the standard air box. Also I've cut out all the plastic slats out of the grill too.

for the front end FARB and polybushing will tighten it up no end :) the ITG intake has been shown to give power increases, you may get it up to 215bhp, with some increase in torque....
