Missing bolt need to replace

Featured Replies

Hi guys.

I've got a bolt missing that secures the intake pipe to the top of the engine/egr. Any one got a part number or knows the size then I can grab a new one. ef1375848ca77693ba126f63a27b429c.jpg

It the one next to the engine cover bung.

Cheers

I had to replace mine, i found a screw in my spare screw collection :P -  you need it as it vibrates like mad under load, could pop off turbo connection which is not good.

I guess if all fails you can be ripped off via skoda parts.

Yer. If any one could get me the size and thread pitch irl go out and grab one locally and a lot cheaper than skoda hopefully.

Will be an M6 bolt, nothing fancy.

Strange bolt to be missing.

Fingers crossed it's just been left out when having a turbo swap or summat and it's not either snapped off in the manifold or the threads have been pulled out :(

It was missing when i acquired it. It has had a bad oil leak from the rocker cover gasket at one point in its life so I'm guessing the person who sorted that has left the bolt out.
