other way round

Featured Replies

i have replaced my symphony head with a kenwood kDC W6031 unit and want to know if i can get an adaptor to use the original 6 disc changer.i wasnt bothered at first but now i am thinking, why not use it and i cant be bothered getting a kenwood changer and re running cables.i have seen adaptors for doing it the other way round ie:symphony head to kenwood changer but not the other way round.

No hope mate IMO. Kenwood wouldn't license something like that but there may be something available out there to do this.

Had similar query for a Blaupunkt sat nav head unit. Emailed Skoda and eventually they come and confirmed they did an adaptor - but it took over a week for them to reply. Could try them to see if they do one for a Kenwood - could also ask VW, audi, seat and porsche since the CD player is (or was) the same for them all.

Blaupunkt have a close relationship with the Volkswagen Audi Group so adapters are quite often available. I seriously doubt that will be the case for Kenwood but if you don't ask you'll never know.
