Rear Spring Replacement

Featured Replies

Hi All

My neighbour has a very nice Superb II however following a recent main dealer service, they advised that one of the rear springs is broken.

Rather than pay dealer rates, he has bought a pair of replacement springs from Euros as he wants to change them himself. Most cars are usually quite easy to do but I have been looking for a 'how to' on the net but nothing is coming up.

It looks fairly straight forward, however can anyone please share their experiences of changing them and anything particular we need to know?

Many thanks

Dan

Jack the rear of the car up and support.

Support the lower arm with the Jack and undo the outer bolt onto the up.

Lower the arm and remove the spring.
