If you do a search lots of people including myself are running AP's

Are they OK for every day road use as roads round me are shot and if there not comfortable wife will kill me

I don't think any coilovers can be classed as comfortable tbh if your going from stock suspension? :)

KW'S are good, not harsh or crashy etc,but compared to the stock suspension on my Mrs's VRS they are hard on the road.

I've just fitted vmaxx onto my saloon. Not driven it yet but the quality of the kit is superb.

I'd say the AP kit is the more popular option but the V-Maxx kit just edges it on comfort. A more comfortable option though would be a good quality springs and shocks kit if you can put up with a set height.

If we can be any help with info or prices please let me know.

Thank you iv been looking in to shocks and springs but are they not more of an expensive option over coilovers

I've had thr APs fitted for about a year and am happy with them. Ride is firm but not jarring or bouncy

Cheers think I may go ap

I have had AP before, were fine aside from knocking at low speeds that was sorted by fitting some helper springs.

I'd rate the quality of vmaxx a little above AP, but the bonus of AP is being able to run standard drop links.

About 30 to 40 mm to just remove the large arch gap iv been told that I may only get a 20 30mm drop on shocks and springs as the vrs is apparently already 20 mm lower

To get a full 30-40mm drop on the VRS model you’d really need to go for coilovers. The closest we have within your budget would be the following -
