PSP - what do you use yours for?

Featured Replies

Right - so I borrowed a PSP over the weekend and I'm really impressed with the games (Burnout, Ridge Racer) and I even d/l an episode of Battlestar Galactica to watch on it, but I think to justify buying one I might have to come up with a few more reasons.

Do you just use yours for games or is there much more to it than that?

I used mine to fund my pc upgrade.

I'm aslo seeking justification to buy a PSP ;) Waiting for the january sales though.

Have not got one, don't want one, why would I need one? spend too much time doing useless things with computer/games machines, really should be outside enjoying the glourious sunshine....on second thought where do i get one from NOW!! :)

I hear they are quite good.

So bought and flogged for an enormous profit? Or did you not really get on with it?

I've played the afore mentioned games on my brother-in-law's PSP. Very good they were too. But cant help wondering if the novelty would wear off ?

Its a shame you cant you it as a phone too.

This is the kind of purchase you dont need to justify. Just buy it and enjoy it. Thats what i will be doing as of tomorrow.

Mine is a white one too so even more enjoyable because i dont know anyone else with a white one :)

I love the look of the black one but it really shows fingerprints - I wonder if the white one will be better.

Haven't used mine for almost a month - sacralidge really.

Play Lumines and everyone's golf on it - have spiderman 2 new wraped) and TOCA (used once but crashed so much I haven't again)...

Really though I shouldn't have bought it - the times I actually use it...

I'll know tomorrow when i get it, but having held it for a brief moment, it doesnt seem to get fingerprints on it. The screen will though.

Also i think the white one looks a lot sexier

White seems to be the new black - iPods and all thet.

Very true, but have noticed that the ipods are swaying towards black now, and psp's are swaying towards white.

The only bu99er i have noticed with the white psp is getting accessories for it :(

Personally i'd love to see a chrome PSP

i play games on mine an use it to surf the bterweb at home if my laptop is in use eslewhere :)

link games are pretty damn good on them

Games (Lumines, Need For Speed Most Wanted, Bleach 2)

Movies (anything that I care to convert using PSPVideo9)

Music (MP3)

Photos (my Fabia, of course!)

Internet (Briskoda and gMail look pretty good on it!)

PSPRadio (Streaming Shoutcast MP3 Radio)

I love it, and it goes pretty much everywhere with me!

see a chrome PSP

Harrods do a (not too) resonably priced chrome cover (or was it 24 carat gold????? )

I use mine for games and videos,

Burnout works well with the game sharing feature and no noticable slowdown.

Well bought it and liked it a lot. Played it on the train when I was travelling to london a few times but then when I stopped going to London I didnt use it as much.

Thought to myself that I would get an xbox 360 and saw no reason to keep the psp. Sold it for decent money as they werent out over here at the time. Couldnt be ar$ed with the xbox so upgraded the pc instead.

All in all though I though it was a very good machine and well worth getting one. If I didnt need the money I would have kept it, although on sonys recent record towards its customers I doubt I would buy one now.
