Tak to the dealer, explain that you think it's prematurely worn and you believe there to be a manufacturing fault or something - maybe email skoda uk and see if they'll meet you half way. Tell them you have never replaced a clutch before etc despite covering high mileages so it can't be driving style etc... They might meet you half way.

I've taken to the dealer and they say it's definatly warn and it will cost me £350 :(

also turned round to me and said some people have warn there out in 10,000miles

If the clutch is really that bad then I want skoda to find me a stronger clutch and keep it in warranty

:thumbdwn: Skoda may not get good marks this year with Top Gear if they don't sort it out

also will the clutch mess my car up if i don't change it till its fully gone?

Clutch won't do any other damage even if it just lets go one day. Its just a pain to have to be towed away. Its the potential of things happening like this, which is why I bit the bullet and got the uprated clutch in beforehand. :)

how many extra miles shud i get with the uprated clutch ???

treat it like a % i.e. 200% more miles, 50% etc

i want to see if its worth it really as wont be modding car (if i do) until its out of warranty
