Hi Everybody,

 

Just picked up my 2013 Citigo today and am looking to buy a PID. I notice that a lot of the advertisements have the statement below in the description.

 

Only for use with PR no. combination: 7UE+77G

 

 

Is this something that I should worry about or will any Seat,VW,Skoda PID fit my car?

 

Also what does this mean?

Buy the Garmin branded PID, not the earlier Navigon branded unit. Ideally a nearly new item that has not been registered by the first user. That way you can register it yourself and get 2 years of map updates and safety camera updates for a very reasonable cost.

VW, SEAT or Skoda devices can all be reset and it will become a Skoda device when you install it in your Citigo.
