Launching IE directly into an URL.

Featured Replies

How can I create a desktop shortcut to launch IE directly into a web page?

No I dont want to change my home page.

Right click on the Desktop > new > Shortcut

It'll open a box for you to type the website address into. Give it a name then click finish and you're all sorted :)

Excellent - all done.

Thanks.

Or if you're at the website you want, left drag the 'e' icon just to the left of the URL in the address bar to the desktop. Hey presto one shortcut.

By the way, look out if you left drag a URL shortcut out of the IE favourites drop down menu, left drag out of here will move the shortcut to the desktop.
