Service Video

Featured Replies

Ok, so this isn't strictly about an Octavia. However, my wife's car is currently at our local Skoda dealer being serviced. They have just sent me a video where one of the technicians walks you through what they've found whilst the car is up on the ramp. Never had this before. Quite a good idea I thought. Anyone else had these sent through? Not sure if it's a Skoda wide thing or just the franchise we use.

I've had this with other brands, yes. It is a good idea.

Yes, had this on recent service at skoda dealer, first time I'd heard of it, think it's a good idea.

VW have been doing it for a couple of years. They haven't started it at my local Skoda dealers yet though.

Yep, had this from Horton's at last service back in January and also JCT600 Seat in Sheffield when I took SWMBOs Leon for some warranty work, they did a full health check free gratis!

My Skoda dealer, Essex Auto Group, have been doing these videos for some time now.

Local BMW have done it for a couple of years but local Skoda do not yet.

Haha. Apparently not as new as I thought then. Oh well. Still a nice touch IMO.

Which one Ben?  Murrys skoda plymouth did it on my vRS, but only had it if theres been an issue which has only been the tyres nearing replacement. Will find our if Carrs exeter do it when the wifes scout goes in, as we're Exeter side of Dartmoor (but the company car vRS goes to plymouth)

The Citnow video system allows the customer to see any advisory items first hand and gives concrete proof that there are concerns with their vehicle.

It helps remove the age old stigma that dealers are just out to rip you off and tell you that your car needs work that it doesn't.

its brand standard and will be rolled out amongst all dealers in the not too distant future.
