Anyone Please Help!!!!

Featured Replies

Hi guys, i have a 03 plate Fabia vRS, and i noticed that this morning my rear wiper water squirter wasnt working, i thought maybe its frozen up as its cold, anyways i tried it on the way home and still no luck!

Once i got home i sprayed the nozzle with de-icer and still no luck, then the low fluid indicator came on, so i thought ok maybe there wasnt quite enough left in there to get it to the back (as the front were working fine), so i fill it up and try again! and still no fluid!!! then i noticed that i have a pool of water under the car, and everytime i squirt the rear wiper the puddle gets bigger!!!

I think a pipe or something has come loose has this happened to anyone else???

Please Help - - - Ta Muchly Jase

Water froze in the pipe and pushed the pipe off the joint just a case finding where and putting it back on.

Washer fluid will stop it freezing and from doing it again

Hi Jase, mine did this if the water is at the front of the car behind the engine mine was it was the pipe from the bottle up to the bulkhead by the abs unit it should just click back together quite fiddly to get to tho

cheers chris

yeah just take it in.

Speaking of washer fluid,.... i've been using a really concentrated mix atm been winter... still froze up!

about 10yrs ago, when mice decided my mum's fiat panda was a good place to nest, they chewed though the washer jet pipe so when you tried to squirt the front windscreen, if you had a front seat passanger their feet got wet. :)

not sure if this is related but, a few months ago i had water in my back footwell, took it to skoda they "aparantly replaced the ancillary carrier" but i still have 1/2 inch of water in the back and if you apply pressure to it, it goes foamy! is this related at all????

yup door.. a common fault many people have had this, i have myself took it in last week for fix seams to of done the trick

Had exactly the same with my tdi elegance and the joint had come apart .it is under the trim at about shoulder height as you sit in the rear seat, it runs down where the pipe runs and into the footwell.

Hope this helps

ps it took ages to dry out!!!!
