Brake pedal gone to floor

Featured Replies

Ok so while changing rear pads i forgot to fully tighten the nipple after bleeding and ended up loosing a lot of fluid and getting air into system. I'm an idiot I know! Iv since tried to get the air out of the system but to no avail, iv bled all 4 corners and Iv also tried pressurising the system using the eezibleed gear and bleeding each nipple. The front left and back right won't bleed, even pressurising the system from the master cylinder I cannot get fluid to run through the back right or front left.

I have a suspicion I could have air in my master cylinder, just wondering have any of u guys any ideas on what my issue is, I have no pedal at all, I know it's also possible that the seal is inversed in the master,

Is it possible to bleed the master on the car? Or am I barking up the wrong tree all together?

Thanks guys , I know I'm an idiot but I'd appreciate your help

Could it also be air in the abs?

I had a similar problem with a Passat, the same corners giving problems , ending up with a new m/cylinder.  IIRC there was a bleed nipple on the ABS unit allowing the unit to be bled.

Same as when i have changed my brake lines on all 4 new m/ clinder and 4 new nipples that was the only solution havent lost the pedal but will stay really down as was no pressure after replacing the items pressure bleed all system and now all working mint

Thanks, I pressure bled the system today and got the pedal back, i had to pump the brakes with the pressure bleeder on to get fluid out the back wheel but it worked, the pedal is still a bit spongey and goes to the floor a small bit so I'm gonna do a VCDS tomorrow and do the abs, I think that might solve it
