Featured Replies

Hello Chaps

Replaced My Rear Bumper Today On My Fabia Elegance 05 For A VRS Rear Bumper

Now I Need An Exhaust Back Box Or Similar

To Finish It Off Does Anyone Have Any Ideas Or will a simple Tail End Do the trick

i only want it to look good and not to fusssed about the cost

thankyou

Nip to a powerflow dealer. ;) Is your tailpipe now about 6" too low and sunk back quite far? I know mine was when I did the same trick.

Have you got 1 or 2 tailpipes?

i have a genuine Skoda brand new oval trim to fit a twin pipe tailbox (looks same as VRS) - this just clamps on

i only have a single tailpipe coming out of the rear box which point down to the ground so i guess i eill first have to cut it square

then a tailpipe trim will be ideal for what i want

This trim is to fit a twin pipe rear box, i suppose you could slide 1 of the fixings over your pipe but i'm not sure if it'll be central though?

This is how mine looked with the standard TDI bumper. It was chopped off so the whole backbox came away and the poerflow box & pipes put in their place. £170 all in it cost for the box/tailpipes and fitting. :)

do they do a list of diffrent back boxes as i would like to try and stay with the VRS style of backbox

The backbox is the same, but they have countless styles of tailpipe, in order to retain the vRS trim style.

My local dealer had a rotating stand about 6 foot high (square) and each 6 foot high by 2 foot wide face had loads of tailpipe designs you could pick from. Sure there'll be something vRS like there.

This is a 2.0 Fabia, with the twin-out exhaust from Skoda. Fitted by the dealer using the standard backbox.

Mil, is that the std. Favia vRS tailpipe as the bore seems larger than mine?

Either that or I just haven't looked hard enough:confused:

I have no idea...:)

Thats the trim i have for sale - you can just make out the fixing clamp bolts - looks identical to the VRS standard trim

So this trim is a Skoda accessory? Hmmmm interesting......

I wonder if Blueflame will make an exhaust that this trim will fit onto???

I like the OEM look!;)

CHEERS GUYS

Where did you buy rear vrs bumper and how much was it? I think it could be found on ebay cheap.

There ain't no bolts dude, it's welded on. It is the same tip the vRS gets.

All this puts my exhaust trim to shame!! I've got the single pipe accessory trim from skoda

You have pm :)

I've seen this link many times, the first time being when I wanted to buy the pipe two years ago. When I received this pipe, there were no provisions for clamping. I don't know why. So it was welded in. Solid job too.

So, if i replaced my VRS rear bumper with a standard (Elegance?) one, could i then fit mudflaps and a tow bar?

You'd then have to make a cut out for the exhaust

Anyone wanna exchange vrs bumper for elegance?? :)
