as above what is the correct pressure as it is given in metric on the fuel cap.also what was the oe tyres when new mine has pirreli p6000.cheers

32 PSI which is roughly 2.2 Bar. My VRS Octy had P6000s on the back which were original but has Pirrelli P7s on the front as I bought it second hand it might just be what the Skoda dealer gets in as a close match.

Wont 32 psi make the ride very bumpy/skittish?

some tyre guy told me that 26Psi would be more like it.

But maybe this explains crappy mileage i've been getting lately

i put mine to 32 makes a big differance in fast and slow cornering and in steering feel compaired to 26 as i found out the last time i checked a prompltly pumped back up

pretty sure the recommended pressure is 28-30psi (reading the chart at a mates tyre fitters) depending on loads... i run mine on 32psi and its fine.
