And the last place you look.

Don't use it without the oil Jason. All that hardwork giving your car a new heart with the mega-fart generator will go down the drain if that filter doesn't do its job like it's supposed to. Don't you have the old standard filter stashed aside somewhere in case situations like this occur?

Fully agreed with Mil.

All you have is a thin cotton gauze with holes in and no filtering oil to catch any contaminants and grit.

I took my Green filter out and and washed it over 2 months ago, but i didn't re-oil it!!

But that's only cause i haven't put it back in yet:D

No garage, and the wife won't let me use the kitchen:thumbdwn:

After it's oiled, do you have to let it sit for a while and soak before putting it back into the airbox??

The instructions were on my oil aerosol, but I'm pretty sure you spray it up, leave it for a couple of minutes and then dab it dry with some kitchen paper. Should feel dry to the touch and not oily :D

Well, from memory, I cleaned mine, as I did last night, and left to air dry for about half an hour - this half hour was spent trying to find my oil.

Shall see if Halfrauds stock it later on. :o

Edit: IF i had oiled it, I believe I would have also left it to air dry a bit, maybe do a bit of swinging it around too. :D
