Skoda Superb/Passat W8 Interior Light

Featured Replies

Hello,

I currently own a Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDI 2007(57) and have been looking at fitting a superb or passat w8 interior light, the one that has the red (cats eyes?) at night. Has anyone done this to a fabia or have any experience fitting it to a VAG car? I know you need the adapter loom for it to fit and also an extra long bit of wire to reach the light switch, but I am just tying to find out if it can be done in a Fabia? before i splash out on the parts

Thanks for your help

It can be done, I'm pretty sure Ant with the white lowered VRS has had it done, I think there's a write up as well.

Yes I've done it but it with the red leds some you can get the green one but I've never seen one.

Yes you need the loom for it to work. Pretty easy to do took me about 5 minutes to fit and all working

Just an update to say I installed my light, really easy to do (and I also have the sunglasses holder) looks really good at night , just soldered the wire to the sidelight wire and hey presto it's perfect

Thanks guys

I couldn't have the sunglasses holder in because if the returning arm was hitting the interior light connector
