Had an Audi with said display. Would be interesting if this could be done on Octy vRS?, any ideas anyone?.

Yeh, sorry should have qualified myself better, in Golf Mk3 land the Highline was the VR6 model at the end of the line which received all the leather, air con etc. In current VW land if you order a "Highline" kit it takes the computer that we know and love (left hand side of the clocks) and puts it in the middle with the dot matrix display.......I know the new Octy's have it or something similar. I guess I just wondered if it was something that could be changed aftersales.....

Is on my mates Golf MK3, thats what put it on my list of desires. Am currently playing with the VAG-COM kit to see what it can do. There'll be a resident vag-com expert lurking undoubtedly who will know of it if its possible - anyone?

Anyone got any further with this ?

EddyH is your man... i dont believe the octy has the right display on the dash as he swapped the entire clock assembly for one out of a Bora IIRC...

hopefully he'll be along shortly as i may be talking total 5h*te
