So I've had my mk3 Monte for a month now and it's OK ...... but there is just something missing it's just not the same as my old mk2 VRS.

Firstly one touch windows .....this is partly my fault I just assumed it would have it I mean come on a car in 2016 that doesn't have one touch my fiances 64 plate C1 has them. Now any one know if these can be retrofit ?

Next is hill hold again the C1 has it and I know it was an option but at 30 quid I can only assume it's a coding.

I have put some LED's in the front interior lamp but I cannot for the life of me work out how to get the rear interior lamps out.

And finally for now I have been toying with the idea of a remap but I've heard stories that it logs a code in the pcm so dealers can tell its been mapped any one know if this is true?

Any help on any of these things much appreciated

Sadly the remap detection is true if the car is hooked up to odis and the log sent online.

    MTL on this forum says hill control is a coding and their website say they can do the coding. In fact MTL has sent me the coding which I will forward to you - you will need someone with VCDS to do the coding. If you get this to work, please confirm that you have been successful.

     

     

    Regarding the rear interior lights, you have to put the screwdriver/blunt knife in from the 0 end (front of the car end). I have put LED lights in all the interior & boot & is easy to do. Takes about 90 seconds per rear interior light. Video link of how to do it below.

    Does anyone know of a way to retrofit cruise? I'm thinking of an SE but I'd be buying from stock.
