Fabia mirror adjustment switch

Just swapped a switch from a newer fabia mk1 as thought its stupid having to adjust both mirrors then flick back and adjust the other one is it a coding thing or is it how there wired original switch

It's how the switch is. It's quite useful if you have two drivers who use the car who are different heights.

I tried the newer switch in it but it adjusts the same as the first switch
