Yet another bluetooth question

Featured Replies

Hey Guys,

Excited to be here but me and my Octy II have a question.

I know there has probably been many of the same question that i could go find but wanted to know:

My Skoda Octavia 2009 Facelift model with bolero radio currently can not stream audio over bluetooth as the module in atm only supports phone calls, will i need to purchase a fully new module (if so, which one) or can i add on to the current module for it to register audio streaming, as when i go to spotify i have the option to play through SKODA-BT but the BT-AUDIO tab on the bolero will stay greyed out.

Sorry if this is a common question.

Thanks,

Jesse Leet

I'm no expert but I think you'll need a new module. I don't know for sure which one as there are so many but take a look at carsystems.pl or similar as they sell a variety of different ones and describe the functions of each quite clearly.

If you get a different module it's an easy swap for your existing one.
