can anyone please enlighten me on what mk1 octavia vrs parts are shared with other vw or audi cars.i know about the engines and gearboxes but what about the platform, brakes,dashboards etc.

I believe the Octy is also built on a golf platform and shares brakes from the hot VAG models such as the audi TT225 & S3 to name a few!

Dash is Skodas I believe :confused:
