Could someone help identify what box to the right of the battery is? This image isn’t a picture of my engine but mine looks identical.

There are two clips at the rear one each side. Slide them back towards the windscreen and the cover comes of to revel some fuses.

It's the engine bay fuse box.

As above - under bonnet fuse box (other fuse box is on the side of your dash board on the passenger side when you open the door - just pop the semi circular panel off).

And there was me trying to be clever

Funnily enough It's on the drivers side for me too which is why I thought a rhd car might have it on the passenger side....it obviously goes on the side where the steering column is situated.

It is exactly as the picture that the OP shows, so the same side as the driver if you drive on the right/wrong (left hand drive) side of the road or the passenger side if you drive on the left/correct (right hand drive) side of the road.

Now that was a simplified answer. haha haha, sorry no emicons agains.

Thanks Danny - but my comment was referring to the fuses on the end of the dash, not the under bonnet one in the photo which is exactly as you say.
