Hej all.

 

I want to replace the light indicator with LED and reverse light with LED. Im not so good with my hands so i like to see a video how to take off the head lights on my octavia 3 combi and how to put the into place again.

 

Can you help?

Welcome to Briskoda,

 

The issue with replacing the front indicator bulbs isn't so much removing the headlights (I believe you have to first remove the whole front bumper), it is more the fact that the indicator bulbs are sealed inside the headlight. To access them you have to break open an access panel and then buy a repair kit from Skoda to fix the hole.

 

Crazy.

Blimey. I knew about the bumper removal, but breaking the light unit and then having to repair it. ?!?! Crazy indeed.

And you did mention the reversing light in your first post, so we still owe you an answer there. Sorry, I don't have one. Anyone else?

The manual explains it pretty well, it's very easy I've done it twice now. Pop the cover off with the tool under the floor, undo the screws and just pull it away from the back of the car, can take a bit of wiggling....
