ok im having some problems with my DVD Player on my PC,ever since i formatted my HD about 2 months ago i keep having this same problem when running Power DVD and the DVD on Windows media player.it keeps coming up saying

TheTV Out port of your display card is not working properly.

and then when you click detailed

This copy protected disc can not be played when the TV out function is enabled.

also the DVD player on my PS2 now only plays DVDs in black and white and not colour now:confused:

anyone know how i can fix these please..........:(

What's the make & model of your video card?

Normal things first ... have you reinstalled the latest versions of all the drivers and client software?

as far as i know the video card is build into the motherboard.

yeah im pretty sure i reinstalled all the software back on.it works on a couple of dvds (bullet in the bible,6 days in may and a couple of others)

ok i found the problem it was bill gates

It seems service pack 2 for WinXP is the culprit. Actually the real culprit are those copy-protect morons at MarcoVision...
