I'm selling my Octavia on here and Auto Trader as a private sale.

 

What is the recommendation as regards letting potential purchasers test drive the vehicle?

 

I'm disinclined to let a potential purchaser drive but will willingly put the vehicle through its paces legally of course.

 

Any thoughts on this?

If you do let them drive have them provide proof of insurance. Some policies specifically exclude driving any other car, I know mine does.
