Main fuse box- advice

Featured Replies

The headlights dimmed the dashboard as well. No response to throttle.

Its the battery i tought (4years) - as it was night and on my way home i decided to get on to a taxi an buy a new battery. Connected the new battery - everything normal - 10 minutes to home - headlights dim again.

On close inspection next morning a slight melt mark on the fuse case on the top of the battery. Open it and realized that bad contact for long time created a heavy burn like oxidation on the 110A fuse nut/washer/ bolt (the one with the black cable - I assume is the charger cable).

I had to change the whole fuse case - about eur50 + work.

My advice: - tighten the nuts
