What other things can i use other than the lubricant there is already as i have ran our of my meguires claybar spray:(

It works with just water

Isn't the lubricant stuff supplied as part of the kit also available separately? - check the label, I'm sure it is, called "instant detailer" or something similar.

Water works just fine

Our valetors in work only use water with there clay bar -- never seen them using anything else with it -- so if it's good enough for the proffesionals!

Tho I guess you need to use plenty to keep it lubed properly

The Halfords one's instructions imply just water - says "wash entire car ... leave surface area wet"

Aye, water will do - if you're really worried you could add just a drop of car shampoo, which would break the surface tension a little more.

cool ill try that tomorow seems the lady who owned it before had painted her house and got white splats all over it!

I only used the lubricant spray really because it tends to dry much quicker than water...but water works fine
