TFT Screen in furby for dvd etc

Featured Replies

Guys / Girls

I have got a JVC AV X1 after seeing it recommended by a few others (cheers Bengie), has anyone mounted a 6.5" or larger tft in theirs. Looking at roof mount or perhaps dash mount but then using the dash mount to go on / in the rear cupholder (pic's would be niiice).

The kid's always want to go in the furby if I am taking them anywhere and they know it has a DVD, but are struggling with the jvc's very clear but small 3" screen.

Not sure how a roof mount would work with a furball so am looking for any suggestions folks (can't get rid of the kids btw)

Cheers

Don't know if this is in the spirit of things, but why not just get one of the 50 quid portable DVD players from Tesco for the kid(s), it includes a 12V adapter for use in the car...

I know what your both saying, but I am one of these people that likes things to look "factory" not slung over the head rest etc etc. The Head unit I have is a dvd and it has feeds for reversing camera / monitor out etc etc.

i have a roof screen mate, easy to put in

do you have a sun roof?

having a sunroof makes it a lot easier to install as you have a big hole in the roof to work through, the other option is to get an indash screen and plug it into the out put of the stereo.

how about 1 or 2 head rest screens?? not the cheapest of options but will look factory as you will never see a cable :)

this is the only picture i have but i can go take more if you like :)
