My mirrors has gotten so tainted they no longer work. My dealer wants 120€ for a matching pair. Thats a bit much in my opinion. Is there a way to know what the original part number for theese mirrors are? My car is a left hand stearing car since I live in Sweden.

Go onto Ebay and have a look here, I have just ordered one. I am sure they will post to Sweden if you ask.

I need to know what version of fabia I'm drivning, is it a 6y or a 5j?

The 6y was produced untill 2007 and 5j started its line 2007.

My car is manufactured 2007-12...

I've got some tech specs

Motor 47 kWh 1198 cm3

6Y is MkI Fabia

5J is MkII Fabia

 

When looking for parts, you need  the beginning of the number to start 6Y1 (the one denotes left hand drive) if you have a MkI Fabia.
