Hi all, firstly being new to this but have read loads, I would just like to say many thanks for all the useful information and now a member I will try and help when I can.

 

I have, to me, a new 2011, 61 reg Octavia with factory fitted Amundsen+. Everything is working well apart from the bit I need the most, fully working bluetooth.

 

It connects to my phone and everything works correctly apart from making a call, it just come up with ‘dail fail’. My girlfriends iphone works with it but mine doesn’t but our phone connect all other BT equipment with no problems.

 

To clarify, I can receive call through the Amundsen+ but can not make them, however I can make them from my phone when it is linked up and it will then work through the Amundsen+ but it somewhat defeat the hands free bit!

 

Amundsen+ 3T0035192J, software version 0319, sytem hardware version H55, nav data par no. 3AA919866, nav data version 0038, nav data medium EUR_W_0038.

 

My phone is a Kyocera KC-S701 with BT Share 4.4.2-102.0.1920 & Nfc Service 4.4.2-102.0.1920.

Also has anybody found proper map updates yet or is it still a stitch up?

Ok I have answered my own question!

 

You have to set your default dialing app on your phone to complete calls. I had skype or viber asking if I wanted to complete the call some times but setting the default app has stopped this and now I can make calls with the car.

 

I know my neighbour was having the same problem with his Porsche and was told by the dealer they would need the day for a day. Hopefully he will buy me a beer for this one!
