Limited Edition & log book

Featured Replies

Evening all, first post, please be gentle  :|

We have a limited edition VRs and due to a change of job we are having to trade it in and "downsize" the car.  We have found a car but when the dealer was valuing the VRs, they said the Reg number doesn't show as a Limited edition, nor does it show on the logbook - just Octavia VRS.

The dealer said they can only value it as a standard VRs unless I can prove its a limited edition

Is this right?  surely it should show in the log book, or it the dealer taking me for a ride?

Thanks

Post a picture of the car...

Funny you ask this because i thought the 'LE' limited editions were metalic grey.

But my log book say's im a 'LE' and i'm race blue.

The problem I'm having is he log book isn't saying LE just Octavia Vrs

Maybe you need to call skoda uk.

Or possibly DVLA.

Do a HPI check

Or try a couple of online free car/tax/mot check's see if it come's back as a "LE"

Good luck.

I had exactly the same problems when I traded in a few weeks back. After taking the sales manager out to the car to show him the difference, my part ex valuation went up by a grand. On a flip

Side I blame Skoda as they should have been registered as LE and it should be stated on the log book.
