Goodbye Toledo

Featured Replies

Well I'm leaving the Toledo/Rapid fold and going on to a Skoda Octavia Elegance. It has slightly more spec than my current itech but I bought it for more leg room for me due to a bad knee.

The toledo is a good car but the seats aren't the comfiest but the handling and the way they drive is great. Had it 11 months and done ovet 31k, however the last few months I've been having issues with my battery and after having it tested it said it needs replaced plus my suspension is clunking and despite being into seat and my mate nobody can find the cause of it! Seat won't look at the car for the battery fault nor investigate the clunk further unless I agree to pay £80 if it's not covered by warranty and seat UK aren't interested as they say warranty is down to the dealer! Been to 2 garages and they're both being the same, think they're trying to blame my taxi equipment for the drain and causing the fault.

So I'm awaiting a delivery date for the octavia as the dealer needs to get a smart repair or swap my steering wheel as it's damaged and sort out some minor scratches for me.

Sure you will enjoy the Octavia and hope you get better treatment from your Skoda dealer.
