PID live services with Windows 10 phone

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone has successfully paired a Windows 10 phone (work choice not mine!) with their Citigo PID? It's paired fine and calls are no problem, phone books works etc so that side is all good. On navigation though I've lost the live update, PID says it can't get an internet connection. Phone is set to share internet over bluetooth so should be good, was using the exact same phone running Windows 8 last week and that worked a treat. Guessing it's a Windows 10 thing and I'm stuck with it, have removed then paired again, restarted etc but no joy. If I use an Android phone that works perfectly for everything. Would be interested to hear if others have used live services with Win 10 phone successfully??

try settings > network & wireless > mobile hotspot

then the option should be "share my mobile data over" select Bluetooth

that is the equilivilant to Bluetooth PAN network

Thanks, had tried that but no good. Did a Windows update in the hope it may work but still no joy, have just turned off live services for now. Will try again next update and keep my fingers crossed.

you also need to turn on internet sharing

just paired my Lumia 950 with swmbo's PID and live services work fine as above

Thanks but still no joy, just ran an update and tried again. Good to know it works on some devices, I won't give up! Have no problem sharing the Internet with other devices, just this one.

Slightly OT, but keep an eye on your update and backup settings whenever you do an update.  Had one recently and the backup settings changed, resulting it it deciding to back everything up to my one drive, guzzling my 3gb data allowance up!
