Bolero Bluetooth

Featured Replies

Hi everyone! I bought a 2010 Yeti recently and haven't been able to use bluetooth for connecting my phone.

I have activated the bluetooth option in Setup->Media.

This activates a "BT-Audio"-button in the mediascreen, but it is greyed out.

The Phone-button only mutes the system.

Under the drivers seat there is a Blaupunkt CH10 Audio Amplifier. I haven't been able to figure out if this has BT or not.

Tried plugging the cable out and in to try and reset the module. If music is playing on AUX it stops when unplugged, but there is no change to BT-options.

I have activated the bluetooth option in Setup->Media.

I don't really know how to pair the system with my phone anyway. Nothing shows up in bluetooth devices on my phone, which is a Sony Xperia Z5 Compact.

Does anyone have any tips on what to do next, or what may be the solution. Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

The phone end of this is easy. You just go to the Bluetooth settings screen and your device becomes "visible" to anything nearby. Also anything nearby that is also visible will appear and then you have the option of connecting to it.

The car end of this sounds a bit problematic. Is your Yeti standard and if so did it have Bluetooth preparation from the factory? If your phone button just mutes the audio it may not be.

Probably you will need the manual for the unit and model year you have. These can be obtained (PDF) from Skoda online
