Types of Fabia vRS servicing

Featured Replies

I know that this subject has been done to death and I have searched and read all the threads about servicing but I am still not 100% sure what is best for me so please forgive me for asking again.

My vRS will be 6 months old at the end of the month but I am also approaching 10,000 miles, do I therefore get a 10,000 mile service now and an annual inspection after 12 months or do I get both done at the same time? If I get both done at the same time does this mean that I have fulfilled my warranty requirements or do I actually need to get the annual inspection at 12 months?

Many thanks in advance.

Alan

If you are sure you will hit 20,000 miles at 12 months old then the 10k lube service should suffice for now - if you're not sure the annual inspection should be done.

The next annual inspection would have to be done 12 months on from that.

However (there's always an however!!!) the 20,000 mile service is a bigger job than the lube service and does, I believe, include the annual inspection (although I could be wrong).

I must say I'm not a car tech so I could be wrong.
